Nonprofits

Are you a nonprofit looking to offer or enhance your services or to create a peaceful and productive space for your clients?

Together we can design a garden or garden program or revitalize a past project that’s struggling. Your nonprofit could benefit in many ways:

  • Grow healthy, delicious food for and with your clients

  • Create a peaceful space perfect for doing some work, enjoying a meal, reading a book, hosting a fun art or cooking-from-the-garden class, providing horticulture therapy for clients, or taking a deep-breath break in the middle of a busy day

  • Create an outdoor classroom for teaching and learning about health, environmental education, life skills, standards-based curriculum, STEM/STEAM activities, and more

Gardens are a valuable tool for libraries, after-school groups, senior centers, child care facilities, schools, or other nonprofit groups.

We can help you with your outreach and education needs by creating outreach materials and offering classes and workshops.

Whether you are thinking of a few plants in pots on a patio, raised beds in a yard, or a small food forest, anyone with a bit of time and space can have a beautiful, productive, healing haven.

Children's garden

This Children’s Garden was filled with fun and engaging elements such as a pizza pie garden, a living willow tunnel, a little free library, a worm bin, a five-senses maze, and a story circle.

Historical kitchen garden and orchard

This Historical Garden replicated a traditional garden growing in the early 1800s, supplied harvests for demonstrations of period food ways and museum programs, and offered tours and classes related to past and present agricultural practices.
